Mike Pardew, guitarist and composer, maintains a regular performance schedule throughout the West Coast and leads the house band at Nel Centro in downtown Portland on Fridays and Saturdays.

In November of 2002, Mike was hired to join the award-winning band, Eleven Eyes, one of Mike’s favorite groups to see at the time. He performed, recorded, and toured with the band through May of 2009.

Mike Pardew has been a Jazz Guitar instructor since 1995, currently on faculty at several Portland area colleges, and his own music school in SE Portland, Cadenza Academy. Mike graduated from the University of Oregon, where he was the sole recipient of the 2004 award for 'Outstanding Undergraduate Jazz Performer.'
